Your guide meets you at the airport, handles the transfer into the city, walks you through real Amsterdam food at trusted local spots, and gets you back to Schiphol with time to spare for check-in and security.

Not a layover? We still pick you up
The airport pickup works just as well on arrival and departure days. Landing in the morning with a hotel check-in at three? Your guide meets you at Arrivals, and after the tour we drop you at your hotel, your river cruise ship, or back at Schiphol. For groups we bring a private coach, so the luggage rides with you instead of waiting in a locker.

How much layover time do I need to do this tour? +
We recommend a minimum 7-hour layover, measured from the moment your inbound flight lands to the scheduled departure of your next flight. That gives time to clear immigration, complete the airport transfers, enjoy the food tour at an unhurried pace, and return to Schiphol with a full buffer for check-in and security. For long-haul international connections, an 8-hour layover is more comfortable.
What happens if my arriving flight is delayed? +
Let us know as soon as you have an updated arrival time. As long as there's still enough time to complete the experience and safely board your next flight, your guide will adjust or shorten the route. If a delay makes the tour unsafe to run, we'll refund you according to our cancellation policy.
Can I bring my luggage on the tour? +
We strongly recommend storing checked bags in Schiphol's left-luggage lockers before meeting your guide. A small carry-on is fine to bring along, but the experience is far more comfortable without large bags. Your guide can point you to the lockers if needed.
Is the food enough to count as a meal between flights? +
Yes, the 8+ tastings cover a substantial meal and most guests don't need to eat anything else at the airport before their next flight.

Yes. The same airport meet-and-greet works on arrival or departure days: your guide meets you at Arrivals, we arrange luggage transport or keep bags on a private coach for groups, and after the tour we drop you at your hotel, your cruise ship, or back at Schiphol. Tell us your flight and where you need to end up, and we build the day around it.
