The 3-hour, 10-tasting private tour is €99 per person excluding VAT. That is €119.79 per person including 21% Dutch VAT. That rate starts at 12 guests; from 13 guests the group gets two guides. The team price is higher per person than our private food tour (€1,310 for a group of 12, VAT included) and covers the company side: an invoice to your company with its VAT number, pickup from your office or hotel, and a guide for every pod when a big group splits. A team tour starts at our central point near Spui, in the city center, or we pick the group up at your office or hotel. Tell us where your team is on the day and we plan the route from there.

A private team tour can start as late as 19:00, so it works as an after-work outing or the company Christmas party. The herring stop runs on tours that start at 16:00 or earlier, so an evening start swaps that one tasting for something else.

Yes. One private boat seats up to 30, a larger boat takes up to 50, and bigger groups go on several boats side by side. Tell us your numbers and we will quote it.

Alcohol is optional on a team tour. Coffee, tea and soda are on the drinks list anyway, so a daytime work outing can skip the alcohol altogether. Say so in your enquiry.

There is a toilet at the first stop and one at the last on a team tour. In between, your guide knows the cafés along the route where colleagues can step in for a minute, so just say the word.

Yes, and pregnant guests join our tours regularly. The one stop worth knowing about in advance is the herring, which is cured rather than cooked. Plenty of guests skip that one and your guide will have something else ready, no explanation needed. Whether to eat it is their call and not ours, and nothing here is medical advice. Mention it in your enquiry and your guide will keep an eye out.

Yes, and a food tour suits a picky eater better than a set lunch: each tasting is a few bites, not a plate anyone is committed to, and they skip what they do not fancy. A team tour is private, so tell us in your enquiry and your guide plans the route around it.

Tipping is not expected on a team tour, or anywhere in the Netherlands: your guide is paid properly. If they made your day, a tip is welcome and always optional.

Free cancellation on a team tour runs up to 48 hours before the start. Need a different date or time instead? Tell us as soon as your plan shifts and we move the group if a guide is free.

Paying for a team tour works the way your finance team expects: we invoice your company directly, with the company name, address and VAT number on the invoice, or you pay by card through a payment link, virtual and corporate cards included. Event agencies and DMCs book us for their clients too; ask for our trade terms.

Prices are in euros. Your company can pay by invoice, or by card through a payment link, and a card is charged in euros. Your bank converts the amount, so check whether your card adds a foreign transaction fee.
