   Pass by

   Meet your guide at Gastrovino Amsterdam at Spuistraat 330, a central spot just an 8-minute walk from Dam Square and about 5 minutes from Rokin Metro, with Uber drop-off possible nearby. If your hotel is within 10-15 minutes on foot, your guide can pick you up there instead. If not, you can either make your own way to the start point, or we'll arrange a taxi pickup for an additional fee.

   Old Amsterdam

   Your tour begins in central Amsterdam, where your guide introduces the city's unusual relationship with tolerance, trade, nightlife, and counterculture. Before stepping into the Red Light District area, you get the context most visitors miss: what is legal, what is tolerated, what locals actually think, and why Amsterdam developed such a different approach from many other cities.

   Instead of treating coffeeshops like a novelty, your guide explains how the culture works in real life. You learn the difference between a coffeeshop and a cafe, how etiquette works, why Dutch policy is built around tolerance rather than full legalization, and how the scene has changed over time.
