Why do we cap the group at 12?
Because the places we visit are small. A 200-year-old stroopwafel bakery, a cheese shop with a basement bar, brown cafes that have poured jenever for 400 years. Twelve people fit inside. Twenty-five don't.
Small also means you hear everything, taste everything while it's warm, and the guide has time for your questions. By the last stop it feels like you've been out with friends who happen to know all of Amsterdam's secrets.
